This is a classic example of valley floor fruit. With rich topsoil and plenty of nutrients, the vines plump up beautifully thanks to reliable groundwater, which also brings softer tannins. The result is a Cabernet that shows off ripe black fruit flavors with just a hint of milk chocolate on the finish. It could easily age 5–10 years, but you may not want to wait that long. Courtney calls this one an “easy-drinking Cab,” and we couldn’t agree more.
