Recently, this has been the talk of the winery—and you’ll taste why with one sip! Typically, Barbera ripens late, and we often struggle to get it as ripe as we'd like. Autumn brought a final burst of warmth to this vintage, and it made all the difference. While the harvest only brought in two tons of fruit, resulting in just 125 cases— the wine is incredibly concentrated. You’ll notice a departure from typical Barbera characteristics—there's no usual bracing acidic edge or lip stinging. Instead, expect a hyper-ripe, new-world-style wine with juicy, red and black fruit. Finishing with smooth, balanced acidity.
