This Carignane comes from 80-year-old vines in a vineyard that's new to us, though we've been making Carignane for years. Carignane is almost a forgotten varietal, a rustic cousin of Zinfandel with Spanish roots. In the glass, it’s all about bright red fruits—cranberry, lingonberry, and a lively freshness. A touch of new oak (20%) adds a gentle chalky texture and polish without weighing it down. Rustic, bright, and full of character—we think that you will like it as much as us and see why we named it after Courtney!
