Sourced from the storied Pickberry Vineyard—planted nearly 40 years ago on the cooler, north-facing slopes of Sonoma Mountain adjacent to our Hollister Hill Vineyard—it benefits from extended hang time and later ripening. The result is a complex, gold-medal-winning wine with ripe, expressive fruit that’s never baked or overripe. Despite expectations, the tannins are surprisingly soft and approachable. Another stunning wine from the 2022 vintage, and with only a small amount remaining, it’s nearly gone.
