Picked from a distinct block of our estate vineyard, this Reserve Chardonnay shows the toasty oak and match stick notes on the nose that are a hallmark of our estate reserve Chardonnay, though never overdone. The palate is rich with yeasty brioche and bread dough, with the sur lie character coming through from stirring the lees once per week. Bright lime and lime zest cut through that richness for a clean, balanced finish. As always, 50% French oak, half of which is new.
